Elvis Presley si esibisce allo Shrine Auditorium di New Bern, in North Carolina, alle ore 20.00.Per tutelare Elvis ed i ragazzi della band, Sam Phillips stipula una polizza assicurativa sull'automobile Eldorado gialla del 1954 che Elvis ha acquistato all'inizio del mese.
Phillips viene designato come nome dell'assicurato e come indirizzo viene indicata la residenza di Elvis del momento al numero 2414 di Lamar Avenue.

13 SETTEMBRE 1957:
Scotty Moore viene citato sul giornale di Memphis, il "Memphis Press-Scimitar". Le sue parole sono: "Elvis ci ha promesso che più avrebbe lavorato lui e più avremmo lavorato noi. Ma non è andata proprio così".
13 SETTEMBRE 1959:
Currie Grant fa incontrare Elvis Presley e Priscilla Beaulieu durante una festa. Quest'ultimo nota subito la ragazza, che è molto più giovane di lui: il suo tipo di bellezza è quello che Elvis ha sempre cercato, come dirà lui stesso ai suoi amici.
Al gruppo si unisce anche un altro ragazzo: Joe Esposito, proveniente da Chicago.

13 SETTEMBRE 1960:
Lavorazione del film "Flaming Star".
Durante l'ultimo giorno di riprese del film "It Happened At The World's Fair", Elvis Presley regala due prosciutti del Tennessee al Governatore dello Stato di Washington ed al dirigente della Fiera Mondiale di Seattle. Dopodiché il gruppo torna a Los Angeles, dove viene fatto posto nella casa di Elvis a Bellagio a due nuovi componenti della sicurezza: Davis e Kingsley.
13 SETTEMBRE 1965:
Lavorazione del film "Paradise Hawaiian Style".
Elvis Presley si trova ancora a Palm Springs.
