Il magazine "Variety" annuncia che le sequenza del bordello dello special TV NBC "Singer Presents ...ELVIS" (conosciuto come " '68 Comeback Special") è stata tagliata in quanto, sebbene abbia avuto esito positivo alla valutazione della censura, gli sponsor ne hanno preteso la rimozione.
Elvis Presley trascorre la maggior parte del mese a Palm Springs.

E' stato deciso che ogni componente del gruppo ha una mansione da svolgere: Charlie Hodge rimane stage manager ed assistente generale di Elvis, con il compito di fornirgli acqua e foulard mentre si esibisce sul palco; Lamar Fike ha il compito di occuparsi delle luci; Sonny West è responsabile della sicurezza e Richard Davis si deve occupare del guardaroba.
Elvis viene fotografato all'aeroporto di St. Louis, diretto a Detroit, in Michigan, dove deve esibirsi all'Olympia Arena alle ore 20.30.
N.d.R.: In molti hanno ritenuto per molto tempo che la ragazza che chiede l'autografo ad Elvis in questa occasione fosse Madonna da ragazzina, traditi anche dal fatto che Detroit è la sua città; ma non è così. Quella ragazza non è Madonna.
