BOX CD + LIBRO - ELVIS MADE IN GERMANY: THE COMPLETE PRIVATE RECORDINGS

Ne avevamo parlato già qualche settimana fa...
Questi sono i dettagli della nuova release, dal titolo "Elvis - Made In Germany: The Complete Private Recordings", che verrà pubblicata a partire dal 08 Marzo 2019 dall'etichetta Memphis Recording Service e nella quale sono contenute le incisioni private di Elvis Presley del periodo trascorso in Germania.
Nello specifico, il box contiene 4 CD ed un libro di 152 pagine per un totale di oltre 3 ore di ascolto.
Sebbene i nastri originali siano stati danneggiati e presentino rumori e distorsioni, per la prima volta tutte le registrazioni fatte da Elvis Presley in Germania sono state faticosamente ripulite, riparate e restaurate, usando le più sofisticate tecnologie.
Questo significa che, finalmente, queste incisioni di importanza storica sul piano musicale si renderanno disponibili all'ascolto.
Nelle prossime settimane, prima della pubblicazione, la Memphis Recording Service (MRS) pubblicherà un'anteprima delle incisioni, facendo ascoltare la versione originale - danneggiata - e quella restaurata usando le loro tecnologie.
Per quanto riguarda il libro di 152 pagine: contiene rare ed inedite fotografie e documenti, corredate di descrizioni fornita da Gordon Minto, che si è occupato di ogni incisione di Elvis Presley per la RCA relativa al periodo 1957-1958, prima di focalizzarsi sulle incisioni in Germania.
Il bonus CD presenta masters di studio della RCA del periodo 1957-58 - anch'esse restaurate e rimasterizzate dalla MRS).
Nelle prossime settimane verrà anche dato l'annuncio della pubblicazione di un vinile, in edizione limitata, in formato da 180 grammi, focalizzato sulle incisioni in Germania.
